Inloop is an over-the-top platform that brings end-to-end transparency and security to supply chains. It transforms logistics contracts into digitally signed, self-executing agreements that leverage IoT data and programmable logic to verify contract performance. It tracks multiple hand-offs, across the chain of custody. Payments are released automatically when agreed upon conditions are met.

For the shippers and consumers, Supply Chain Logistics is a black box. They are not aware of the package’s physical conditions such as the temperature it is stored at, or if it experienced impact on route. This lack of visibility makes it difficult to know when and where exceptions occur, and how to fix them before it is too late.

Inloop IoT devices make packages self aware of their temperature, humidity, location, tumble and impact. We created a “Tunneling Protocol” to enable movement of data from the physical logistics network to Inloop’s cloud network. It works by getting IoT data (the payload) from the physical packages that are actually carried by the physical logistics service.

Smart Contracts use objective IoT data to verify the compliance of a logistics job in real-time. If contract performance conditions are not met, it generates alerts for the service provider to take corrective action. This makes the supply chain Transparent, and service providers Accountable.
